Failed to generate response
After calling an OpenAPI tool, the chatbot stops working with a message "Failed to generate response". Is it a known error? Does someone know how to fix it? There is nothing in debug trace.

Im facing the same issue. Is there any solution? May be vertex ai is not able to parse the response properly and get the output? could this be a reason?

From the Google Team: In addition to the Cloud Logging console like you mentioned, you can also try clicking on the “Original Response” button on top of the Agent simulator. It’s between the “Debug trace” icon and the “Undo last action” icon near the top of your screenshot. Once you click that, you might see more details in the response object related to errors. Otherwise, if you’re seeing the same level of information, there might be more debug information server-side that the support team can help you with.
