do i need to pay in order to use vertex ai for this hackathon ?
I am not sure if I need to pay, but when trying to use vertex is asking for payment. this is my first time using vertex AI. thanks in advance for your help.

You do need a credit card to sign up if you do not already have a Google Cloud account. If it is your first Google Cloud account, you are given $300 to try out all the Google Cloud Products.
